Do seriously obese people only have to pay for one seat on airlines, when they take up 2-3?
Just curious.

I actually heard that if you cannot fit into one seat, you MUST pay for two. They even come and check and make sure you can fit into one seat.
This is true.

Well I can tell you I paid for two the last time I flew, the third seat near me was my wife so she did not mind putting up the arm. I suppose if I had been flying alone I might have needed to pay for the third. But realistically, the number of seats is the least of my concerns flying at the size I am now.

Depends on the airline. Although I do think that when you take up two seats (or way more than one at least) you should have to pay for it.

depends for most obese people but because people see them as overweight, they are often discriminated. Take the airport for instance.

it depends on how many they take up -
some are just bigger in the stomach and
just take up one seat - on the other hand
some are wider and take up 2-3 seats.
Just depends on the person and how
they are built.....
