has anyone used clomid (or clomophine) in conjunction with injectable HCG hormones? and if so, how long did it take to get pregnant? (i'm going through artificial insemination)

Hi! I have never been on Clomid myself, but I know of forum that I think you might like to join and find useful. It is a trying to conceive forum, that has a special section called 'The Clomid Support Group', where you can ask all your clomid related questions, and just talk about your experiences. I think you might really enjoy it, and find some helpful information.

Did the oral Clomid and the injectible fertility drugs. Neither worked, but everyone is different. You just have to decide along with your partner how long you will continue the various treatments before you stop (if you don't get pregnant). Relax yourself as much as possible because as you know it is stressful and time consuming.
If you can afford it I'd do in-vitro under one of those guaranteed plans (if you're young enough to be included). At least you'll receive some money back.

I did Clomid & on CD 14 I went in for a u/s and if I had 20mm or bigger eggs, then I was given a shot of Norval to make me ovulate within 36 hours. Worked both times for me (even though i did miscarry both).
