When you go for your 1st appointment at the doctor or clinic they should give you the information you need to apply for WIC and medicaid. The WIC will help with juice, eggs, milk and things while you are pregnant and then after it will pay for your formula and you can get the forms for Medicaid as well. Make sure you set up appointment soon with Medicaid sometimes it takes forever.

It's based on income and most pregnant women are eligible just because the state wants women and babies to have the best chance possible. Make an appointment with your local assistance office and they will tell you all you need to know. They are there to help. Hubby and I had our first child on state medical because our income was too low and we had no medical.
