How come some people always seem to land on their feet?

Through my life I have seen people who just stroll through life without really trying and things just fall in their lap, why?

some people are just naturally lucky while others of us have to strive to get what we want. To be honest, if you want something, just go for it, you have nothing to lose. It is fear that holds us all back. Some people just don't have this fear.

I don't know why, but it seems that the more of a bastard you are, or the more stupid you are, the more likely it is that you will stroll through life and never get cancer (good guy's illness) or any other serious complications. Try being an evil little sh*te and you will have a much happier life.

That's a very good question that no one quite knows for sure.Some,I believe have been born with a silver spoon or in an environment where there are no worries.Going through life not letting every little thing get under your skin helps.Others are just down right lucky! It's in God's plan I suppose right?

Sods law or they simply know people who help them.

But on the other hand they could be like me - my friends (not my close ones!) seem to think I have it "made" but on the other hand I have worked very hard to get where I am - studying through the night when my daughter slept and then going to work etc.

Could be either but both are still really annoying!!!!!!!!!

Because they see the opportunities passing by and grab them without worrying about "what ifs" too much. And if it turns out it was not the dream job or the dream car or the dream wife they still make the best of it. While it may seem to you they have it easy, actually it's because they don't flip the coin to show you (or themselves) the reverse side. It's called positive attitude.

You are rong.Maybe it does 1,2,3 times but then it stops and they go down.What you see are people with parents or relatives with a lot of money and they are helped by this people, so it seems things just fall in their lap, but it isn't so.They are bought in their lap ;)

I think you just have to know what you want and go for things. Some people are just lucky. I think my husband and I are in that boat so far...things have really worked out for us, but we also work very hard at making sure we are secure emotionally, finiancially, and well balanced.

most people worry too much and stress keeps them from having an easy life. the people your talking about do not worry and take many chances so most likely will make life easier for them.

Its usually simple handouts, daddy to fall back on, mummy to pick up the pieces, they dont try because they have daddy and mummy to try for them. Too much smothering of cotton wool.
