I would rather hang out with a redneck any day over a snob.
Why? Because rednecks are real people while snobs try to be something they are not! Snobs are too "uppity" like they are better than everyone else. It's like their brains are clogged from all that city pollution/smog.
Rednecks are my kind of people. They are very hard working kin folk too. I respect them very much.

Redneck isn't exactly the opposit of snob. I've met some rednecks that are pretty big snobs. All I can do to answer your question is to say that I hate snobs, but I like most rednecks. I just don't like MethHeads or Bible Pushers.

A redneck of course. I think that rednecks are more honest with themselves, and with you. Snobs are fake, fake looking, fake sounding, I mean all their concerned with is what they look like and how people percieve them. Which also makes them a drag to hang out with. They won't want to do anything that would get them dirty, and aren't impressed by nice places. Rednecks will go anywhere - camping, traveling, sightseeing. And rednecks are excited about going out to eat, and doing fun stuff. They are just more open to different things to do, as oppossed to snobs who only want do certain things, which is usually narrowed down to spending their dads/your $$$$$

yikes! is that all i have to chose from? i would flip a coin. rednecks try so hard to act tougher than you and cowboyish which is really lame, and snobs will just look down on you the whole time. now a redneck snob sucks, we have lots of those in tx

I think they try to be fair, honest and treat you how they think you would like to be treated. Snobs on the other hand will try anything to put you down.(So they look better.)
