Certainly not. Many popular skin products contain irritants that can actually make the condition of your skin WORSE. Here's my formula for good skin: If it's good for the environment, it's also good for you.
If you want to find out what's environmentally friendly or if you want to find out how SAFE the products you use right now are, I'd recommend going to (www.ewg.org) and look at their Skin Deep reports. You might be very surprised!

Not all the time. Everyones skin is different and some products work better than others. They tell you all of the good things about the product, but never seem to tell you the bad stuff. Like for example, Proactive fails to mention in their commercials that you break out in pimples for about two weeks until your face starts clearing up after using it every day. The first wk of that stuff i kept getting new pimples so i called the company and canceled my monthly payments bcuz i didn't think it was working. The lady said that that was supposed to happen. Even if proactive does work, i don't have time to have pizza face for two weeks.

You should not because most TV ads are not sincere. Ads are make believe stuff because the viewers are constantly bombarded with images that eventualy sticks.Companys are only interested in selling their products.

The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) monitors via the "Truth in Advertising" rule.
This would apply to all cosmetic advertising. They can take liberties within those rules by using gorgeous models, giving their products sensual names, and making very promising suggestions about what COULD happen if you use their cosmetics, but not real PROMISES.
The only advertisers I know of who don't have to follow the "promises" ruling are politicians.

Not all of them......... But some of them can be believed....... The ones which make the tallest claims are the worst. they are not to be believed. The modest ones with a reliable, time-tested product behind them can be believed............. eg. You can belive an ad about a Sun screen which gives you maximum sun protection....... But one which says it will make your complexion fair in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!! Well....... You know better!!!!!!!

I would say you should. I use ProActive and have for two years. Honestly my dermatologist says my face has never looked better. And plus you can always do some research like what makes ProActive special. Like the ingrediants.
