If these bites are small red spots that itch, call your docter to make sure you don't have scabies. Scabies are small mites, not lice, that burrow under your skin and cause severe itching and redness. The ONLY way to get rid of the bites and reduce the scarring it to obtain a prescription topical ointment from your doctor, wrap everything in your house with plastic (to kill the mites) for three to four days, and constantly bathe. After you have rid yourself of the infestation, turn to Mederma or Scar Therapy to reduce the appearance of the scars.

Don't be embarrassed. Scabies are commonly "caught" in hospitals, doctor's offices, schools, and community areas. So it's not a socially embarrassing problem. Give it a couple of weeks and you'll feel much better!

Depends on the insect that bit you. If it is poisonous I'd suggest using vinegar to draw the poison. When bitten do not scratch. Vitamin E is good for helping the healing process and egg whites are high in protein and can be used as a scar prevention cream supposedly (that's what they did in the medeival days).

Have you tried to just leave it alone? You're probably over medicating it. If that still doesn't work, you should be able to find something (ointments and bandages) specifically for healing scars at your local drugstore. I personally like Neosporin.
