Depends where you live, but here in Kentucky there are lots and lots of waitress positions. Most places have hiring signs outsite or on the windows. If you do not have great availabily in your area, look for new restaurant that are openning or have just openned. They always accept applications and chances are high to get employeed if you have experience.
My final advice would be to get a real profession and leave waiting tables to others. You may be young, but you won't be young for long. After a while most places will not hire you because of your age and experience, since they know they have to pay you more than a High Schooler. That's when it will really suck!

First you need to create a resume which sells your excellent skill as a waitress.

Next, use your network of friends and relatives and ask if they have heard of any job openings that you might enjoy besides waitressing.

The best jobs to get are the ones not advertised...( don't forget to write down who you talk to etc. so track your job search) open the phone book call the restaurants where you would like to work and ask to speak to the manager and ask if they are hiring siting the superb waitressing experience you have. Good luck

If you love what you are doing, enjoying the contact that you have with people, making a lot of money, then why not find another job at another place, doing the same thing? Don't quit your current job before you have a new one in hand, but take the opportunity to look for a new job from a position of strength.

It depends. How old are you? If you are 21+, you can bar tend at a golf course, country club or American Legion. If you work nights you might not even see your boss. How about going to school to learn to do something you are interested in. Maybe just changing restaurants will solve your problem. Good luck

Think about the things you like to do, hobbies, etc. Then look for jobs that can pay you for what you like to do. There has to be a little give and take. Noone is going to pay you for laying in bed, most of the time.
