After awhile it does hurt - but before it gets to that point, the drive to "release" is so intense that it is ALL you can think about - how to get off.
I'm sure most guys take matters into there own hands before it would start to hurt.
I only "hurt" one time and that was when I was in basic training for the Army, hadn't gotten off in 5 weeks, and had no where to jerk off.

No it does not hurt. You are being fed misinformation. The body has a way of taking care of that on its own. While you are sleeping they are called wet dreams. Erections left 'unattended' will subside without any pain and the myth of blue balls is a bunch of nonsense too.

And even if it did hurt, what's that to you. Most men have many erections a day and few ejaculations.

There have been times that I have become very aroused and for various reasons we weren't able to have sex. afterwords I had a great deal of pain. I even went to the hospital once because I thought something was wrong. "BlueBalls" is not made up. but it doesn't happen just because you get an errection. it takes quite a bit of arousal with out ejaculation.

It doesn't hurt. Blue balls is a lie made up by some guy who needs an excuse to abuse his procreative power. It's not a need, and blue balls fade as soon as the erection is gone.
