I have cookie cutters that are shaped like snowflakes and star shaped cookie cutters. I usually soak them in very hot water and soap then scrub with a paper towel to get the dough out. Any hints?

Toothbrushes are great, but make sure they're clean before you start scrubbing! Soak them in some bleach before using them to clean kitchen utensils.

A toothbrush or a cotton swab should do it. Just put soap on the "tools" before scrubbing.

Try using dental floss. Soak them if they need it and then wash as usual.

An old tooth brush.. some times (if they are not plastic) the dish wash should work.
