man's first invention was a weapon because they had to survive (kill food, find a mate, that sorta thing). They needed to eat before being clothed.

BTW, "life" and "the world" isn't an invention of man.

Definitely not the wheel! What, also, do you mean by "first invention"? Do you mean US Patents? Cause you can find that out by going to uspto.gov and searching patent number 1. But, if you mean humanity's first "invention", I think it would be the ability to start and maintain fire. Fire, good!
