how do u tell the sex of a gerbils that are 3 months old??

one always craps every where the other trys to be tidy but the other trashes its nest

at that age, you might have to take them to a vet to have there sex checked. But as they get older you can tell. I had a hamster that was 3 years old, and he was dragging his sack around in his cage. I guess they are only supposed to live about 2 years. What are there nesting habits like? Males are messy, and will go to the bathroom almost anywere, but female gerbils tend to be cleaner, and will pick 1 corner as the designated potty area. good luck

The best time to sex a gerbil pup is about the age where their
eyes are open and they have all their hair. You should be able to
flip them over and see. If you can't see the testicles on the little
boys, you may be able to see a couple small bumps or VERY GENTLY apply
a little pressure around their bottom area and a male's parts SHOULD
show enough for you to tell it's a boy.

Oh do not know but I do know that you need to find out fast before you have 10 more then 10 more and so on.. Oh I also learned they like to chew on that habitrail stuff. Good luck

look for balls and if there aren't any then its a girl. but the balls should come out fairly quickly. if they don't have balls at a year old then you have a girl

actually you can look it up on the internet, its how i found out how to find out about baby bunnies. but if they are boys they should have little, and i do mean LITTLE balls.
