you can have a perspex roof, its called triplex, but i would not advise the use of perspex in the side windows, and if you cant attach it to the house you would be better just buying one of those summer house sheds from b&q, im a builder so if you need anymore advide dont hesitate to get in touch, and good luck ;-)

I guess I would know, but, would probably have to see the House. This should not be too hard if you have some House building Knowledge. I really not know how to tell you here. It sound like it be separate from the House. So, it just be a Basic Structure, maybe without a floor? OR use a typr of Tile.
This link my give you some ideas; http://www.conservatorydesigns.com/Index.html These may be attach to the House, but, with some thought could be Separate just add another wall in place of the House.
This the one I like; http://www.conservatorydesigns.com/4-Harrison.html

you can build one from old 1l bottles there is a book sold by sci
or you could add apt one from screw fix direct or c and a plastic http://www.casupply.co.uk/
or build one from extruded aluminium and perspex
one could advertise on free-cycle for a greenhouse that had lost all its glass and remodel it and use perspex just some thoughts
