There are places like betarecords.com which allow you to download some songs "totally free", however if the individual artist chooses not to allow anything but "streaming only", you would only be able to add it as a ringtone. The draw back of this particular thing is that you may not be able to find the band you are looking for, but they have fantastic artists in the mix!

hubs, try sharing programs like dc++, ldc++ etc and find a hub that is close to ur area www.hublist.org . if this is illegal in ur country than u'll just have to listen to crap music or buy the music u wanna hear. ah... and there r internet radio stations if u wanna listen music 4 free but that will take some of ur bandwidth.

get a program called limewire or ares...it is a file sharing program with more than 50,000 users .If there is any popular track out there or movie it will b downloadable
