Probably penalty points - in the UK a driving licence can be endorsed with up to 12 penalty points bewfore it gets revoked.

For example, using a hand-held cellphone while driving is illegal and is punised by £60 fine and 3 penalty points - I think this is what the narrator meant

its prolly like in the usa u start with no points but if u get a ticket it can go up to 12 points and maybe in uK they start u off at 12 and work down thats my guess

You start off with a certain number of credits. If you do something wrong (speeding, parking tickets, accidents, DUI), they take credits off. If you lose enough credits, you lose your license.
