Your engine won't get broken by way of moisture problems with the air intake. There might nowhere be the quantity it would take to reason any harm to the engine. the only thank you to break it with a cold air intake is that in case you tension via extreme stages of water and reason hydrolock. do you ought to get one? properly it fairly is as much as you. that's superb while put in alongside with headers and a cat-back exhaust, or you will see very minimum beneficial properties. you will lose a tiny bit in low end power and earnings a tiny bit in extreme end power in case you in user-friendly terms deploy the intake on my own. i think of the wonderful reason to get one without all something of the aspects is that in case you go with your vehicle to make slightly growl while accelarating.

I use to have that motor in my A4. Trust me... DON'T install ANYTHING aftermarket. I maintain my cars RELIGIOUSLY and had my main engine bearing go bad because of a simple mod. If you need more power, get a VR6 but please don't mod your 1.8t unless you want a paperweight.
