what ever happed to the small 45´s record lp???and do they still make them or all the music is on cd now.....

Heck yeah they still make them. Mostly for more underground styles - punk, outlaw country, hiphop. I pick one up every now and then for punk and oi! bands I like.

Full size records are still being made, too.

For example, if you check out 7"s on http://www.interpunk.com/ you'll see that they have over 4000 for sale - mostly brand new.

I don't believe they still make them, however they might as they do still make 12" LP records for DJ's and what not. I know on Long Island there is a warehouse dealer full of 45's. He sells them for juke boxes and what not. We purchased an old school juke box so that is how I found him. He even gives you the little label to insert into the display of the juke box! Pretty cool, anyway whether they make them or not there are still millions out there. You just probably won't find the latest rap song on one! LOL

They are a thing of the past. You might be able to find some at antique or collectibles, but no new music, cassettes are pretty much headed the same direction, CD's are the thing now, or IPODs.

I have them all, no actually I have about 1000 of them and no they don't make them anymore
