Super mario bros. or Sonic the hedgehog?

well depends...i like both but mario kart iz waaaay better than the racing game sonic made in the past but except for that i really like both reminds me the good ol times

I would say that the Mario series are by far better than Sonic Series. It is more easy to find more good games from Nintendo's Mario than Sega's Sonic.
Just take a look at those where both can be compared like: Racing theme games, Platform games, Fighting games, Action 3D games.
Then add those where Sonic doesn't have a game like Sport games and Video boardgames like "Mario Party".
Of course, Sonic have some great games but Mario have more games that are good and fun too.

The Mario series was more fun for me, because I grew up playing it. I could never get into Sonic because I thought it wasn't nearly as exciting as it would've suggested by Sonic's speed. I'm not a Mario fanboy and I'm not against Sonic in any way. It's just personal preferance, and I prefer Mario over Sonic.

Super Mario Bros. most recently is because the games earn far more rewards than SEGA does. Another reason it could be is the plot, the nintendo company doesn't melt their brains for creating a good story, they normally repeat the storyline. Unlike the Sonic team, well, their ideas are terrible, not to mention the gameplay...
