I'm totally devastated. Can anybody recommend something that can slow down the process of point out a reason other than genes why its happening? Would beta-blockers be the cause (bearing in mind I've taken them for years).

As a girl I don't think it is that bad. I had a boyfriend when I was 18 who was going bald and all my friends thought he was hot. It doesn't matter. There is nothing more unattractive then a man who is that worried about it.

Don't: it ain't bad. Being bald has its good sides. And, there is a chance that the balding process will stop, and start again in you sixities (such thing happened to my dad, he started losing some hair in his twenty fifth, and continued a couple of days ago((he's 53 now))).

I'm 21, and I LOOOOVE bald men. They are so sexy. And when you joke around and remind them that they are bald they get a little self conscious and you get to say "aww its OK, I like you bald". All my BFs have been bald except for one.

Bald men are more manly.

Look at it this way...how would you like it if the doctor told u that you had cancer and 6 months to live.
Baldness is nothing, live life to the full and enjoy yourself.

baldness can be a sign of virility so make the most of yourself and women will fall at your feet.
