Interesting notion, but not sure US really wants to "share" Iraq with the Russians. The "terrorist" insurgents in Iraq have their own agenda for the abductions. In the past, it seemed like they were doing it to split up the "coalition." I can't think of any reason why the insurgents would want Russian troops after them as well as US troops/

I don't think that's the case...Russia has their own little Iraq in Chechnya fighting Islamic Extremist just like us. All those extremist groups pledge allegiance with each other.
