The liquid turns the litimus paper red- could be quantitative if the color matched a particular pH level. b. is not a quantitative value because you can't measure the cloudiness. c. The liquid tasting bitter is a qualitative observation. d. The liquid boils at 100C is quantitative because it is a number that can easily be measured with a thermometer.
