The latest studies are providing increasingly strong evidence that gays are born gay. See the link (below) to a newspaper article from today's Wall Street Journal.

(By the way, I'm not gay and don't have an interest in this debate one way or the other. I just happened to notice that the issue is in the news again.)

Yes! But I wouldn't use the term "born gay" . But it's a studied fact that sometimes babies are born with the thought that they are born the oppisite sex than what they are. It's has something to do with a part of your brain that tells you your a certain sex. But while the baby is still in the mom's stomach, that part of that brain sometimes doesn't develop correctly.

Yes. This question has been asked and answered tons of times, try looking it up in the discover area or the GLBTQ area. Just like straight people are born straight, lesbian/gay people are born that way, and bisexual people are born bi. But overall love is love.

I believe that people are born gay or straight or bi. I think there is a continuum between absolutely heterosexual and absolutely homosexual and that you are born what you are somewhere on that line. It isn't good or bad, it just is. What sort of person you are (honorable, ethical, kind, etc.) is much more important than your sexual preferences.

I 100% think you are. Really when you can see in as young as toddlers, do you really think that they made the choice? Who would choose that lifestyle anyway? With all the gay bashing and people being prejudice against you, I don't think people would choose that kind of life. Be proud of who you are though.

I don't think that a person even developes a sexual identity until they are about 3 or more. That is when they first realize that boys and girls are different.

YES, although I don't negate that there are those who later "become gay" due to some environmental cause - ie; molestation, rape.

Conversely, gays can become "straight " due to their environment (family, religion, society) pressures as well.
