I'm not referring to the new bills to prevent counterfitting, but a complete change that would make all current bills obsolete, with a time limit to exchange all our money for new currency.
Would this help ferret out illegal monies, ie drug stashes, etc? We already are monitored for any bank deposit above $10,000.

What do you think? And Why?

It wouldn't work because it would require a mass undertaking that the government is not willing to do. Making all current money obsolete and changing the "face" of currency is a huge ordeal. Not only does it require the government to create the money, it would have implications all the way down the chain!

Yes, I think it's time for a change...
I'm not talking about new forms of it (like you mentioned too),
I am not talking about credit cards or IRDF stuff either...

I am talking about a real examination of money itself...
lets make Greed the thing of the past and find a better way to structure the economy then credit and minimum wages.

Lets make Capital a thing of the past.

Here's one way how

By the way we CAN do this with or without Government(s) it's all about the People baby!!!
WE can CHANGE the world with or with out them, we all have two feet to stand on so lets stand and start walkin'

That would be an expensive logistical nightmare, and it would be a temporary fix; once the "illegal" money was laundered, things would be back to the way they are today.

Lots of costs, no lasting benefits. Thumbs down on this idea.

I think it's a foregone conclusion that we will soon become a cashless society. That may be a better way to deter criminals.
I guess there will always be thieves and they will always come up with ways to get what they want illegally.

I think we should go back to reality that money is the root of all evil and learn how to live off the land, trade services and shove this crap up the corporate monkeys butt.
Now that's evolution for you.

It's time to! But indeed, it's time to think of the debts, too. The world feeds America with its wealth and resources.
