Depends on what season you are watching. Season 2 ended in the US already. If you mean the last show ever when it is all over then that's a different story. I think they are obviously part of some experiment but to what extent who knows.

I hope its nothing cheesy, like the entire cast being rescued and reunited with their families. I hope it ends with them finding someone else to pass the button-pressing torch down to (much like how Desmond passed it down to Locke and Jack), signifying a whole new era of the hatch.

They have a contract for something like 7 seasons total I think, so who knows that far in advance?
