Because as a good president he has a lot to say about running this country. And, what does make Bush TO shut up mean. Do you mean make Bush shut up? He has many problems to solve in this world with all the treachery going on. People need to be safe from all the terrorists in the world. Could you come up with a solution? If so, let him know.

Because mr. bush has too much power in office and the white house let him say what ever he wants to say even if what ever he said was stupid or dumb. The only time he may shut up is if he is impeached or no longer in office.

Bush is an idiot everybody knows it. even the republicans, he is the puppet to oil, corporations world wide, and to religious fanatics in this country.
He is one of the Anti-Christ! he did not go after Bin Laden, he went after starting war in the middle east and creating more Bin Ladens. the next time we get hit is because we caused it again.

Because they are under a constant barrage of nonsensical "news" which pits them against eachother adn disallows critical thought, in order to make him shut up they would have to first be able to think about the problems we face and identify why we have them.
Due to propaganda they can't. sorry.
