Because they are selfish. They aren't making excuses to "be nice" because you obviously can always tell it's a lie and if they think you aren't worth the truth then that obviously isn't very nice at all. (In fact ladies, your selfish lies hurt more than the truth.) They make up these excuses so they don't look bad and that their reputation isn't tarnished. Because if they told you that they really don't want to date you because you are too fat, too poor, too short, too nerdy, too pale, not muscular enough, so on and so forth then their reputation would be in jeopardy. I've gotten the truth out of many women and 90% of the time it is about looks and the other percent is about money. Most girls these days don't care about what a person is like on the inside, they just want a hunk on the outside. You could hit, cheat on them, and call them names just as long as you look like Ryan Reynolds. They always say they want the romantic guy in all the chick flicks but would millions of women be so obsessed with The Note book if it stared the fat guy from Lost instead of Ryan Gosling? And women always say, well if you are unhappy just work out and lose the weight.(yet they are the reason you are unhappy not your weight. They expect you to change for them because they are selfish.) But if a woman is rejected for her weight it is because men are shallow and that women are beautiful no matter what size and should be excepted by all but when women reject men for something so trivial it is the mans fault and he shouldn't be a lazy slob. I know weight may not be this guy's or you the reader's issue, i was just using my experience as an example of how women are full of B.S. So next time some chick feeds you a load of crap just call her out on it and basically just tell her off. She may find you interesting for a bit after that because women want what doesn't want them usually and you may at least get a night of sex out of it. Women are selfish and insane creatures and we as men just need to find ways to work around that. Peace.

Sometimes something just doesn't click. It's not that there is anything wrong with you. It's more of a chocolate vs. vanilla thing. Some like chocolate, some like vanilla and some like pistachio. The reason a woman will make excuses is so she doesn't hurt your feelings.
Don't get mad, go find the woman who likes the flavor you are.

Because they already have a boyfriend, they don't like how you dress and do not dare to tell you. They do not like how you smell. They think you stink, they do not like your cologne. They are embarrass to be seen with you because of your old car. They think you will take them to a cheap place. They do not like your body. They do not like your teeth. They do not like that you smoke. they do not like that you drink. They do not like the words you use to talk. They do not like how you express yourself about your own family. They do not like that all you think about is SEX. THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE REASONS why girls make excuses not to date. ;)
If you want them to date you, make sure you know them better. Do they like to drink, smoke, go to fancy places. Maybe they just like to go to a movie have popcorn and soda. Depends where you want to invite them. Make sure you brush your teeth and wear a light cologne, just in case she does not like it. See how she dresses and try to adjust to her fashion. Always be polite talk good about her family or friends if you do not like to talk about your family, just don't overdo it cause she could get jealous. Hope this helps a little.
