-take an aspirin to relieve the pain
-make a cup of regular Lipton-type tea and then put the wet teabag in the gap where it hurts. i'm serious - tea has an astrigent quality, I think that's what it's called, that will dry up the area and should relieve the pain as well.
-if it still hurts, call the dentist.
just so you know, I had 5 or 6 baby teeth pulled. the teabag thing really helps!!

My wife just had four wisdom teeth extracted. It took her almost 10 days to recover sensation in her tongue and on one side of her face. We consulted a second dentist who said the first might have damaged her lingual nerve (from improperly adminstering the numbing shot). We were pretty worried for a while. Anyway, the second dentist said that if she began to feel any return of sensation she would eventually fully recover. Since then, just as he said, it has been coming back slowly...

doesn't sound good -- call your dentist. If he says its normal, call another dentist to get a 2nd opinion. I've had teeth pulled that made me hurt for weeks, so maybe you should wait a little longer. Perhaps the dentist could prescribe some pain medicine, though it sounds like you may be too young to get the strong stuff.

I hope you are feeling better soon!

If the hole does not clot properly you can get a "dry socket" this will hurt very bad and for a long time. Call the dentist, they have a solution for this. They put some medicated gauze in the socket. It will feel better.

Just wait for it to go away. If your baby tooth was not ready to come out of your mouth then it may hurt for a few days.

Transfer the pain - put your hand on the table, take a hammer and smash a finger with it, you won't notice the tooth pain anymore!
