Hi, I agree. In my house we do not have television for a few reasons. One of them being it ruins childrens minds will all the violence and other inappropriate stuff. In addition, its a distraction that prevents the children from concentrating on school work. However, some people are able to control their children of when and what they could watch. For those families I guess it would be ok, but you never know what your children are really doing.

There are many educational programs on television that can teach people a lot. Just because there are many other shows that have no educational value doesn't mean the technology itself is without value.

I'm glad that others are seeing the true value of TV in that there is none.
I can't stand to watch it, especially the so called educational broadcasts

I do not watch television. But you cannot deny its power to humanity. There is nothing we can do to stop it. You should become a tv executive and try to improve the quality of educational programming. Please.
