Above the eyelash, if you place them under the eyelid, you will get adhesive in your eyes and that stings!!!!. Try using Duo lash adhesive in dark tone, this will make you have a eyeliner effect on your upper lid, and remember practice makes perfect. I have been wearing lashes for years and never go without em!!!!!

They're made for above, just try to get them really close to the real lashes. Um, eyeliner helps hide the seam thingy, and always use mascara AFTER you put them on, cause that helps to make them look more natural.

You will need to put them above or they wont stick. You also need to get it as close as possibe to your natural lash or they will look really fake the closer you get them the more real they will look. From a personal experience.
