my neighbours have found out about our plans to build an extention and are not best pleased. now they are being very obstuctive and awkward eg blocking our driveway and being abusive to friends and building staff, please help??

Time and showing a pattern of criminal behavior and antisocial attitude out of step with the normative standards of your local community will weigh heavily with a judge, especially if you act while in control of your emotions.
3. You must cease IMMEDIATELY any and all responses to these people while on the scene. Calmness and emotional control MUST be your new standards, or you will get nowhere with the authorities.

Be careful if you fall out with your neighbours it can effect your plans to sell your property. New legislation can also see you end up with an ASBO if you are too obvious in agravating them. Try being obnoxiously nice to them, they can't complain about that.

DON'T annoy your neighbors. If they are being silly or whatever, just wait till they move out of the way. Sooner or later they will have to pee or something. Just ignore them, let their own bad karma get them. Also, maybe its unwise to harras large men in heavy machinery.

You know those pagers they give you sometimes at resturaunts? Well some of them make loud noises if you go out of range so that you don't steal them. Once my cousin took one of them and threw it into her neighbors backyard in the middle of the night and they were up all night trying to find out what the noise was.
