Parents should not approve of their daughter being in a film like that, you should really want better things for her.

You lost touch with her 8 years ago. You really have no right to be judgemental of what your daughter is doing. Neither do the rest of these morons who don't even know what goes on in the porn business.
Most of the women who are so disgusted by the porn industry have slept with men for far less. Like say, a few drinks and some conversation on a one night stand. Or maybe to be with a guy who spends lots of money on them.
I don't know why you no longer speak to your daughter but you can't just call her 8 years later and say "So how ya been honey. How's life? You must be pretty sore after that gangbang." You have no say in her decisions at this point. You two have obviously parted ways. What you can do is call her every now and then to see how she is. Maybe plan a trip to visit her and get reacquainted. You have to become her father again before you can even consider trying to tell her what to do with her life.

God Yes! Of course, perhaps you should avoid films you don't know all the actors in the future. You don't want this to happen again! Ask her why? Is it for money or is it something that she enjoys?! If she's feeling pressured or forced, wouldn't you want to know? If she's in over her head and you didn't help her, how would you feel as a parent. If she is enjoying the work she's doing then I suppose you should support her but at least make sure that she knows exactly what she's doing and the repercussions of it all. That's what part of being a good parent is! Asking the difficult and embarrassing questions.

If she is 26 and you haven't had any contact with her in 8 years it's none of your business what she does. If you cared for her you would have tried harder to keep in touch. She's an adult and can make her own decisions. If you try and step in now you'll just make her angry and not want anything to do with you. Although you might not approve of her choice to be in adult film, you need to respect and support her choices as an adult.

Personally, I think you should talk to her about it. In a situation like that, honesty is usually the best policy. And remember, even if you don't like what she's doing, you should still love and care about her because she's your daughter. Nothing should ever change that, and you should let her know that.

Yes! She obviously needs some guidance. You don't say how old she is, but regardless, she needs to know you know. If she is embarrassed about it, she has something worse going on in her life than just not telling a parent what she is doing...

ahhh helloo, Yes u should tell her about it, she's your daughter, she shouldn't be going in that direction. Thats not a good way to go.
