The book of " Revelation " is the final revelation of future events, concerning end times, from Jesus Christ to John the Apostle.

It will take many hours of in-depth study to get a grasp of Revelation. Find a solid Bible teaching Church and get in their Bible study classes and ask to study Revelation.

Their are many revealtions in the Old Testament also, a great number of which have already come true. ALL of the revelations in the Bible will come to be fulfilled.

Remember, Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of ALL the laws and revelations in the Bible. Jesus Christ IS the hope of the World.

I don't think we will ever completely get it. It is probably the most misinterpreted book of the Bible. I did have a good prof who gave the best explanation I have heard. He wrote a book you can get on Amazon called "The Throne, the Lamb & the Dragon: A Reader's Guide to the Book of Revelation" by Paul Spilsbury. Basically he thinks it had more to do with things that were happening then then thing that would happen in 2000 years.

That is a HUGE topic for this kind of forum. So much of Revelations is symbolic and goes hand-in-hand with other prophetic texts (such as Daniel) that a lot of it is open to interpretation. There is an abundance of information on the Web, but sometimes it is difficult to discern the fact from the mythology. I recommend http://www.ambs.edu/LJohns/APJN.htm but beware of the difference between fact and theory.

Revelation was a mushroom dream that belonged in the Apocrypha. The New Testament is basically about what happened when God got religion.

It's "The Revelation of Jesus Christ," not 'Revelations.' That should give you the only clue you need.

Jesus, it would take your pastor years and he'd still never get to the point. They've been trying to explain it for ages, but i think Catrin 1. summarized it best.
