what should i wear when going out to a bar or night club?

okay, i am a 20 year old female who doesn't get out much. i am going to be 21 very shortly and a bunch of people from my work are planning a night out at the club and bars. they are all a bit older than me and dress really nice already. im not really into skirts and i have no clue what to wear when out. i don't want to be too dressy or too casual. any ideas?

Whatever you feel most comfortable in. If you like trousers (for example, idk) then wear them.

Add a nice light blouse, and you'll be fine.

Don't forget shoes. Heels will be murder on your feet. Flats soles would be better, easier for dancing too.
