I have been told that the easypass will work anywhere in your car, because it is read by radio frequency waves...is this true??? i am afraid to try it.

I doubt it would work. It is a very short wave FM transmitter and needs to be close to the reader. I believe it is really designed to go about half the distance of the lane of the toll booth

no, it needs to be mounted on your windshield.

Reason being is that some of the receivers at the toll terminals are not as strong as others, and if you go thru the fast lane without haviing the easypass read, then you may get a ticket for failure to pay a toll

(expensive if in new your state on I-90 thruway)

I live in GA and our easypay system has to be in the window. It WILL NOT work in the glove box. I would imagine all other systems fuction the same way.

easypass is alot like the oklahoma pikepass and here if you dont take the pike pass out of the car you will get charged even if you pay as far as i know if you dont want it to read it take it out of you car cause it will pick it up any were

no, it has to be scanned like an item in the grocery store.
