My flying fox is always chasing my gold fish - although leaving the other fish alone (in varied sizes). Anyone out there who knows about fish help me?

Algae eaters eat the slime coat off of goldies. It is an extremely common problem. You may even see spots of discoloration on your goldies fins and body. Goldfish should not be kept with algae eaters- well goldies shouldn't really be kept with anything but other goldies.

You need to move someone. The reduced amount of slime coat plus the stress from being chased will make your goldfish a lot more susceptible to disease. It can kill him.

Flying foxs are aggresive. Also, keeping tropical fish with coldwater fish is never a good idea
