This scares me quite a bit. The boy had heart conditions... and the young boy who died on Mission: Space previously also had heart conditions. He had an irregular heartbeat since birth. I was born with a heart murmer, a hole in my heart, and supposedly it's not life threatening (unless I swallow blood.) But obviously none of these people thought their children's conditions were life threatening. I like both of the rides, though, and I've riden them before, so I'm probably fine. It's still so sad though. I couldn't imagine- thinking I was doing such a great thing for my children by bringing them to the Happiest Place on Earth, and then something so unexpected and horrible happening to one of them. And don't they show pictures of the take-off at the end of that ride? I think so... it must've been so heartbreaking seeing that after.

P.S. Wonder Years, you need CALM DOWN. Other people care about this, and this was actually the first way I heard about the tragedy once I got home from work yesterday (it was late and all the headlines were changed and the news on TV was over.) I'm thankful for the reportings. And how about not being disrespectful... a child is gone forever.

She didn't even say it was Disney's fault. Learn to read.

Could you explain really what your point is, are you supposed to be a reporter or something? I'm pretty sure the rest of the people on here can read for themselves without you pointing things out.

I mean, the news has stated that it wasn't Disney's fault. Why are you posting to every person that asks about Disney? Parent's need to learn to take responsibitiy once and stop relying on everyone else for their children. Pay attention if there are signs, don't take your kids. The world can't be responsible for themseves anymore and it is rediculous.

Did you also hear that the father forced the kid to go on the ride? Witness' said he didn't even want to go on the ride, but the father made him go on it.

How would you like it if you were running a legitimate business and someone came in and did something beyond your control. The news got ahold of it and then started reporting it wasn't safe and then other people start spreading the news around that you are safe. And to top everything else off, it wasn't even your fault and a little common sense on the part of the customer would have prevented the whole situation from happening.

I think your posts are a little crazy and unless you have something to ask you shouldn't post a question at all.

Maybe this is a sad situation, but I don't think anyone is to blame here than the guests.

This is a very sad situation and it doesn't sound like it's Disney fault but then again I'm not sure if it's the parents' fault either because they might not have known about the condition but it makes you want to get checked out though just in case. I'm sorry for the family but there are warning signs.

I couldn't agree with wonder_years more.
It sort of sounds like you're trying to blame disney and make people scared to go to Disney World.
All of this is Unnecessary.
Its a sad situation, but it really is the family to blame. They shouldn't take such risks. Find out all medical conditions first.
Disney is awesome.
