I'm surprised they allow kids(16 and up) that they know will be rowdy , disrespectful, and gangster. They also allow some people who stink up the bus so much. Recnelty there was one of these guys and the bus man saw him as he was waiting in the bus stop, and didn't pick him up^_^ But still generally they do. I've even seen one guy who brought a beer in and was drinking and another time.. abunch of highschool students went to the back and were drinking while one of them stood in front to cover them. But it was OBVIOUS. manythings are OBVIOUS and the bus driver doesn't do anyting? why?

Could you imagine the number of lawsuits? And, how do we define "bad"? That's such a subjective term. Yes, I've seen lots of stuff on buses & el trains...sexual acts, shooting herion, fights, & even people with guns. Since the 911 terrorism thing, a lot of public transportation employs security guards, some even with dogs. I've only seen this on el trains, though, not on the buses. Bus Drivers are just that, they simply drive the bus. They aren't the police & more importantly, they aren't armed. I'm sure they are sometimes scared themselves. If you feel treatened, carry a cell phone & some mace/pepper spray. Hey, it's a rough world!

SOme drivers are trying to keep an eye on the road during traffic.. and some just don't care. I guess it depends on the area, but it is part of their job to pick up anyone at a scheduled stop. they don't have the time to scan and interview every passenger. Oftentimes the driver will stop and toss the roudy bunch off the bus.

My suggestion, is if it is such a problem with you, find another form of transportation, or send a letter to the bus company. I am sure they have a website or some contact info somewhere where you can register your complaints.

You should become a bus driver and put yourself in those shoes. It's a hard job and perhaps you expect too much of them. They don't really make that much. Denying people entrance can create a conflict and complaint. If you feel the driver is violating bus rules, call the company and complain. But mainly become a bus driver that is the best idea.
