My laptop doesnt've 9 pin D female socket instead i've only 4 pin DIN socket...But my device's cable has its one end as DE 9 Male connector...Wat shud i do to connect my device to 4 pin din connector...Plz help very urgent

You may want to check to see if your retailer nearest to you has a serial pcmcia card. I have seen them but there are not very many out there. Do you have a desktop computer? You can do the same functions with a serial ide card, than simply transfer the information to your laptop.
