It's good to be faithful to whoever you are with. And it is a bad bisexual myth that they aren't loyal. My friend is bi and she is always faithful to whoever she is with, but that doesn't mean she doesn't look at other girls or guys. Being bi means that you are attracted to both sexes, it's not something you can just turn off.

A bisexual will always be bi, they are born that way like any straight person is born straight and the same with gay/lesbian people.

Justb4dawn- Lots of bi people do not feel that way, that's a sterotype. No bi people I know cheat. They are very loyal to their relitionship, no matter with who, same sex or not.

And to the threesome thing- that has nothing to do with being bisexual. Anyone can do that for fun if wanted.

Wow, a lot of people have interpreted this question as a question of fidelity. From the way I read it, the person is asking basically can a "bi" person be with a man and a woman at the same time. And like a lot of people have said, as long as everyone is OK with it, then have fun.

It depends on who they are messing around with, and whether any of the parties are in an existing relationship. Some bisexuals do mess around with two genders at the same time. However, some homosexuals and heterosexuals mess around with multiple partners.

Messing around with multiple people is okay providing that intentions are clear to all parties, it doesn't have to be done in secret, that all parties (including relationship partners) consent, and that its done safely.

Depends on the people. My bf is fine if I get together with a gal, but he wants to know about... lol, he is still male. Some people may have an issue with it. I see it like this: if I had a bi bf, I wouldn't mind him messing around with a guy becuase he has something I don't! As far as I know, thats how my bf views it more me.

It's only OK, if it's ok with everyone involved. Cheating is not OK.

I think your friend is showing an incredible amount of respect for the people she's with by not messing around with both at the same time. Kudos to her!

No, no one should cheat no matter what their sexual preferences are. Being bi sexual doesn't mean that you, are suddenly given a whore card, and have the right to cheat, it simply means that you are attracted to either sex: if you're with a man, you're attracted to that man, and should be committed only to him sexually, and vice-verse. Being promiscuous is no excuse for being bi. A lot of bi-women/men feel as though as long as they are not sleeping with the same sex that they have the right to cheat with the opposite sex. That's disgusting and wrong.

Depends on the nature of the relationship. If all parties are aware that it's purely for pleasure seeking then it should be fine. But I would definitely recommend safe sex. For BOTH (all three) parties. They say that when you sleep with someone unprotected you sleep with everyone they've every slept with.

Depends on the relationship. Some married bi's have their spouse and other and it works beautifully because all know, understand, and have agreed to the dynamics of that relationship. And then some live their lives as you described.

it all depends on the kind of relationship you have with your partners. some people have open relationships, and that works well for them. some people can only be with one person at a time. if you are unattached, then some people will just play the field. it all just really depedns on the ground rules that people lie down in relationships.
