What are you talking about? Sounds like you're all mixed up.

Bill Gates controls a charitable foundation that he and his wife have put billions into. The donor can do what he wants with his billions. If he trusts the Gates Foundation who are you to fuss? This should be a free country only for poor people? He had to have something going for him in the smarts department to have amassed such a fortune. How's your bank account? Are you so naive that you think the $$$ were for Gates personal use? Why don't you read about what the Gates foundation does. And then comment.

If you are talking about the money Warren Buffet gave to the Gates Foundation, then Yes. You see, donation of a very large sum of money is a very dangerous thing, and comes with a huge burden of responsibility. If a billion dollars was given to some smaller charity, for example, slime balls would come out of everywhere to drain it off for their own purposes and greed. The fraud in the Katrina disaster is a good example. The Gates Foundation is a perfect solution for Warren because it is an established organization that knows how to use the wealth for good, and they can make sure it stays out of the hands of these greedy slime balls.

That is a mistake. Bill and his wife Melinda are not getting the money personally (i.e. it's not going into their bank account).

It's going to his charity, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which spends it on bettering the lives of children (i.e through education etc).

Hey, at least old Bill's trying to make a difference in this world. That's more than I can say for many sorry governments.

Bill Gates and his wife are the most charitable organization in the world and as long as they get billions to help those less fortunate in America then let him have more billions.

of course..because he knows... how to share the wealth... and to personally place it where it is definately needed. i priase gates.. for all his good deeds.. and his wife. if more wealthy people would do the same this would be a better world. i know when you work hard.. or get out there and get rich and famous you can spend it anyway you wish.. but people paying a million for a darn coat or something is simply wasteful in my opinion,,,and a disgrace . some celebrities take spending to another level.. ignorance. praise goes to gates.

Even if he really were getting the money, if he earned it, it's his. Doesn't matter how much you already have.
