My boyfriend jokes around a lot where I never know when to take him seriously. Over dinner last night, he mentioned that we should get house, get married and squeeze a couple of kids. Should I take that as a hint?

Absolutly yes, as most men won;t even dare to mention the "m" word and mislead a lady.
Act cool and pretend that is a joke, be kind and smile and answe that that would be very nice, but don't act desperate as he might freak out and run away. Wait for the rock, then plan for it.

I think it shows that he is thinking about it. Maybe not seriously yet, but the thought has probably crossed his mind a lot... I wouldn't start getting excited about when he is going to propose... But I don't know where you stand with it. Do YOU feel ready to be engaged and married to him and start popping out children? If not, then just tell him that when everything is in it's place, finances are stable, and both of you feel ready, you'll be interested in taking the next step.... But there's no hurry, and you shouldn't feel like there is.

I would I think he is just unsure and kinda wants to see your reaction before he does pop the question Just be patient with him I think he is toying with the idea. Hopefully your wanting the same thing.

well it depends on how old you are if your like 14 you shouldnt really take it seriousle. but if your 18 - whatever then you should probably talk to him about it .
