People can give you all the statistics in the world. You have no idea what you are talking about unless your are speaking from your own experience.
Yes I did live with my husband before we were married and no we are not divorced.
I think living together before you are married is an excellent way to see what you are getting yourself into.
You don't know who someone really is until you are around them 24-7.
Reasons why the statistics are misleading. The majority of people who get married do live together first. This means their is a higher percentage to account for. People who don't live together before they get married are highly religious therefore they do not get divorced. Also lower class people live together before they get married because they cannot afford to live on their own. Divorce is more common amount the lower class. All of these facts contribute to divorce. There are many other reasons why people get divorced that have nothing to do with living together before marriage.

Yes. A sociological study proved that a couple is more likely to get a divorce if they lived together before marriage. However, if the people have already been married, they are more likely to stay married after living together. People that think you get to see what it is like first are incorrect. No matter what you think, the commitment isn't completly there until you are married, so you have a false impression of what marriage is. You don't get as involved with personal issues like money. And more people get divorced from that than anything else.

No. I actually think it's less. But I don't have numbers ot prove it. Living together checks out the compatibility issue first. But on the flip side, people who just get married and move right in, may not be as independent and be more traditionally stuck in a marriage. BJs are good too.

i dont thank so, i beleve its a good thing, it gives you a chance to see how that person real is, no matter how long you date you find out new things about them once you live togather. you get to see if you realy could live with this person for the rest of your life. you dont relize if the way they leave their cloths in the floor or somthing bothers you till you have the chance to be with them all the time. but thats just me.

no, you have a better understanding of what you're getting yourself into before you're married.
