I have noticed that many of the really hateful responses refer to the hate for Neocons. "I hate neocons!!!" "Fu***** Neocons, I hate all of them" etc.
I didn`t know what a Neocon was and looked it up.
It did seem to refer to Jews and people that support Israel but was vague.
David Duke, Leader of the KKK uses it enterchangeably in his hate for Jews, http://www.davidduke.com/index.php?p=350
The left-wing magazine AdBusters published a list of the "50 most influential neocons in the United States", noting that half of these were Jewish. http://canadiancoalition.com/adbusters01/
Neo Nazi`s use it world wide as Jew lover.
Many to whom the label is applied reject the label, claim it lacks a coherent definition.
If It lacks coherent definition and is used connected with hate why shouldn`t one consider it a racist slur?

I have been unable to find that this is a term conservatives gave themselves. I have found evidence that Neocons were Jewish Liberals that left the Democratic party starting in the 70`s and were dubbed Neocons by the Left.

"I have been called many names in my career -- few of them printable -- but the most mystifying has to be a "neocon." Max Boot 2002
When was this Label first coined? Why is used so hatefully today?

neocon is the new disrespectful term for conservatives....kinda of like calling them neo nazi's but subing the word nazi for con....whenever anyone starts with that kind of nasty name calling on either side of the political spectrum its time to stop listening to them because they certainly do not have a valid argument or deserve any respect or response...they are just mean, ignorant people with narrow minds

You need better research information and some professional counseling for the anger issues. The term NEOCON refers to Neo-Conservatives or New Conservatives, and is usually used to refer to the type of conservatives generally associated with combining compassion, social responsibility and fiscal responsibility. It is often used to refer to people who share many of the views of the Bush administration.

I have never seen it used to refer to "Jews" or "Jew-lovers", as you so eloquently scribed above. I was also not aware that David Duke was considered a competent source for political analysis. That's right...he's not! He is a neo-Nazi who espouses hate and blames everyone in society, other than himself, for things not going his way.

the term neocon mostly refers to the people in the american government that are very pro-military action, also called hawks. A large part of their agenda is set by the Zionists, who believe that when israel stretches across the middle east, Jesus will come again.

Edit:
It actually isn't related to the conservative movement directly, other than the fact that they like to associate themselves with it. Neocon is a term that they took on for themselves to try to show that its a new (neo) way of being a conservative.
