I am a straight guy, but I have had a few lesbian friends that were pretty cool, so I think I can answer this. You need to start networking and meeting other people interested in the same things as you. Start going to clubs and stuff like that. Part of being gay is about exploration, and I am quoting a gay friend on that. Therefore, there should be plenty of gay white guys out there interested and curious about black men. You just have to shop around, and meet a large veriety of people.

I agree with Capt Lex probably depends on where you live, up bringing ,etc...
I am originally from a small town in central NY (Elmira) very small LGBT Community but even back in the 1970's up till present time color differences never seemed to be a problem If you fell in love with someone "Color(s)" should never be a factor !
Now living in Jacksonville ,Florida it's not a problem either .
But I will say there are those out there that still have closed minds racism does still exist in this country on many levels .

yeah it is right that gay people are fighting so much for equality, but yet some are limiting their standards of dating other guys of the different race. i, myself am a black guy who is a sophomore in college. i go to a predominantly white college 50 miles away from where i live. i see a few white gay guys on campus who only hang out with one black person who i pretty much know is in the closet. they never ever speak to me, so it doesn't offend me that much. i do think there is a problem with the gay social scene in some parts of the country. a bigger city has more opportunities rather than a small town with less diversity. go venture yourself there!

I wonder if being gay has already meant so much struggle and boundaries for guys that another hurdle just seems overwhelming to think about (the social hurdle being interracial relationships, which are still rarish).
Go to a very big cosmopolitan city or to Europe, and things are a bit different.

Racism is one of the world's great evils.

In my view, racism is a system of racial discrimination that operates with the purpose to support white supremacy. This does not imply that "all white people are evil" -- it simply means that white people benefit from being white in the same manner that men also benefit from male privilege.

It is important to note that racism in this definition differs from the concept of racial discrimination and that this definition does not exclude the fact that many people of color are racist.

Having said that, I believe we need to understand the ways we are preceived before we can begin to see each other as people.

The question I pose to you is: why the focus specifically on finding a white man?

Very good answers... for the most part... a bigger city could help your chances, but I notice that there is still a stigma about it, and only a select number of white guys willing to try it out. I thnk the best idea is theshot gun approach... you'll find someone!

I love the way the answerer's tip-toe around the truth. Gay men are the most raciest people on earth. I know...I have 6 of them work for me. If you aren't buff, white, rich and ware designer clothes they gossip & slam you evey chance they get. See, even you...a black man, thinks they have to have a white guy

They would be doubly discriminated against. A lot of people are against gays and a lot of people are against interracial relationships so for having both of those would cause people to be more discriminatory towards the relationship.

Most don't want the bother, but then you have those who don't care and will do anything for love.

I think it is a matter of location - would love to find a younger black guy in West Central Wisconsin to have some fun with, but he opportunities are so much less here.

I agree with Captain Lex. If you are a black guy who is interested in being with a white guy, you have to go to NY or San Francisco. Somewhere like that. It depends on how important it is to you.
