Bcuz they lost Germany 1(4) and Argentina 1(2). Sometimes that happens when u underestimate the under dog. The Argentinians were sent home just like they sent the Mexicans home. Thats soccer for you. Sorry but I must say they are sore losers. Why start a fight???? Just deal with it like every other team that's been sent home has done. This isnt the first time Argentinians do this because it happened a couple of years ago when Boca Jr. played against Chivas & they tried 2 beat up the team for losing. Lame!!! I must also add that even though Germany made it, they will not win the World Cup because Brasil will take it once again.

Well just luck of the draw really. Germany planned pretty poorly but seem to pull it off at the end. I think just overall Germany just got lucky and pulled it together which was the only reason why Argentina went home.

They went home simply because Germany (at this time) were better in the penalties than they were. Never mind - only another 4 years for a possible rematch =P

i know i cant believe it germany deserved to loose not argentina.
Argentina have been a strong team throughout the world cup and not germany.
Germany only won because argentinas goalkeeper got injured.

Because of the coach seemed to make technical errors in his substitutions, taking off Riquelme and using the threat of Saviola or Messi. They seemed to rest on their laurels. Was dangerous to do this against Germany and the crowd.

becuase they refs were horrible i hate blaming games on refs, but sorry this was crazy! and maybe if germany didnt mugg the argentinan goalie it would have been better, germany isnt even that good, if the game was played in anywhere else they would have been out a long time ago

because the referee didnt give them the penalty and instead game a yellow to rodriguez. that was a penalty
