Does anyone else find it hysterical that she was crying to Matt Lauer about all of the unwanted media attention and then does something like this, for no reason?

It's a sign of a failing carreer when somebody starts posing for fetishists. She's just another contrived media act anyway. Everything about her is done for publicity.
I saw a programme on TV recently about an American girl that was having breast augmentation and lypo etc. and said she liked the idea of getting more attention from men. After she had the op the was unhappy with the "negative" attention from men....
It's the same thing, these people want the attention but can't handle the loss of privacy.
From what I can tell, 99% of celebs are a psychological mess in the same way as the rest of 21st century society. Being famous may get you "worshipped" and "adored" which will make somebody's ego feel great for a while but it's a two edged sword. All of us meet people who like us and others that hate us. Nobody is universally approved of. If you put yourself in the public eye, more people see you and form opinions about you than would ever normally. Some celebs get abuse from people in the street.... from complete strangers. As insane as that sounds, celebs enter your personal space when they appear on your TV. If they offend people with what they say or how they behave, it's inevitable that people (especially the press) will have a go back at them.
Yes, it is funny though and exasperating.
For those of you who have a problem understanding what irony is: Doing a job which involves being in the public eye and then complaining about the attention - then dealing with too much attention by posing nude while pregnant... there you go.

Yes I do find it hysterical! The only thing more hysterical that she has done in the past year was that awful show Chaotic!!! That was really really bad, career suicide. She should have been wanting to keep her 'relations' with that loser on the DL big time! Instead she made a show about it for everyone to see. I just don't get it. At least with this magazine cover she dyed her hair dark so she can take a pause from giving young blonde women a bad name!

I personally wish people would just forget about her. She hasn't done anything worth while in a long time (arguably - ever). She's not known for a great voice, and her appearance has really fallen since she hit, what, 20?
Her "unwanted media attention" is probably all the negative publicity she's gotten in the last few years (unfit mother, failed reality tv show, etc.).
She should just take her multimillion dollars and disappear from the public eye.

I think this just goes to prove you reap what you sow...she has always been the one saying I am just a country girl; I am ont used to all this attention...well guess what HONEY don't pose nude on the cover of a magazine if you can't handle the attention. Go back to the country, no one will want to hang around you trailer fabulous house; so you will finally be alone.

OK.....someone needs to bring her to reality....
1) She's a pop star who's been in the business since she was like 16.
2) She got married for 24 hours....go figure!
3) She's married to a man who has 3 children with another woman, whom also says that he pays no kind of attention to them.
They always say that they want to live normal lives....but as soon as they start making millions, normal is out of the question. I don't feel a bit sorry for any for them. I think under all of the crying and such, they really favor the media attention, that's what makes them wanted, that's what gets them paid.

i think britney just wants the media attention. so what she's pregnant. She is not the first or the last person to be pregnant. i think she needs to hide from herself for a couple of months.

I think that she is a hypocrite by doing that.. she is never going to have the life she wants if she keeps that up. I don't think it's a big deal at all but I think that it's sad what she has become.

People would say she's excited about her pregnancy.
I'd say she's losing herself in her popularity. A little too close to the bottom of the bottoms of the popularity.
