The earth goes through warm and cool phases. About thirty
years ago, there was a cool phase where the earth's temperature was slightly cooler. Human activity can contribute to the extremity, but only to a point. Hope this helped!

it is the Earth's "life cycle"......warm up, ice age, warm up, ice age, warm up, ice age.......there was more than one ice age and more than one warm up, but people still think that humans are the cause for the current global warming....I'm sure we're not helping anything but it is inevitable.
