In my opinion, it means being chilled back. having a great personality, not being fussy and just easy going- being confident adds in.
maybe some people see cool as being dressed fashion designer clothes, wearing expensive perfume and have a popular partner... i don't think so.
as you get older its about being with cool people that'll make you feel better

Second, I get my idea of coolness from the movie "Almost Famous." It is the quality of your life that you desire but don't have.

Not caring if others think you are cool is VERY cool. Trying to look, dress and act "cool" is contrived and really very UNcool.
