Not all men do this. My first husband did. The man I am married to now doesn't. Let him know that it makes you feel uncomfortable and his comments are unappreciated. You need to be open and honest with him. Otherwise, your emotions at this time will get the best of you. Let him know that you are uncomfortable physically and that pregnancy is difficult, and that his comments don't help the situation.

No, all men do not do this. My first husband was like that. I went from 105 to 165. With my new husband, when I was pregnant I got up to 205 and I'm only 5 foot tall. He never made rude comments to me about my weight. You should really say something to him about it. Tell him he should count himself lucky that you belly is the only place you've gained weight.

I don't think all men do this.

If I may, make a suggestion?

* Cry alot whenever he makes rude comments. You know, that deep, sobbing crying.

* Then tell him it's all his fault that you look like this now.

* Then remind him that you have a good reason for your body to be changing. He will start gaining weight with you, eventually. Remind him of this, too... And of the fact that he'll never be able to blame it on pregnancy.

* Then, hopefully, the comments will stop, or at least take a playful note?

No, all men do not do this. He is a jerk. I'm sure everyone will tell you the same thing, you need to talk to him and tell him how you feel about what he says. Tell him how uncomfortable he makes you feel. You need to set him straight. Hello, you are carrying his child in your womb, of course your belly will be big. Do not listen to him. Don't let his rude comments get to you. I think big belly's are cute. My bf always tells me he can't wait for me to get pregnant because I am 115 pounds and my belly will be so cute.

no, all men do not do this...only insensitive ones. He needs to read up about pregnant women. He is making these comments because he is scared you won't lose the weight afterwards. If you are naturally thin and you watch your intake & exercise after the baby is born, you will lose the weight.

Tell your husband to shut up.

No!!!!!!!! They dont!!

I always thought that my wife never looked more beautiful then when she was pregnant! There definately was a glow about her.

Your husband is being an ***!! Why? He either unknowingly thinks that his comments are funny, or, he's secretly angry that you will eventually be unable or unwilling to take care of his so called "needs" after the baby is born.

What the dummy doesnt think about is that...the way he treats you now will determine how you will feel about him later.

Have you told him that his comments hurt you? I would recommend being honest with him and expressing your feelings. Chances are, he probably thinks he's being funny and doesn't know he is offending you. If his behavior does not shape up, try shoving a beer bottle up his butt while he sleeps.

Fortunately, most men don't act this way. Most men are tolerant and understanding of our changing bodies. There are, however, a rare few who either do not know they are being hurtful, or are just downright mean.

Some men are just rude and insensitive by nature. He probably doesn't realize he's being rude, just joking around. Let him know its not funny and you'd prefer it if he stopped all the joking around. I'm sure he's still attracted to you, men are just WEIRD.

No .. All men do not do this and he sounds like a real jerk. If you are certain you are not with a physically abusive man you can always turn the tables on him and tell him if you can put up with his tiny penis all the time then he should shut up about your temporary physical condition.
