i let my son visit his father after 14 yrs now my son doesn't want to come back home he says i threw him out i dont feel i did i know i told him to stay with him but only to get to know him his dad doesnt want to bring him home to me when i asked my son to come home he was acting all big and talking back to me he would never raise his voice at me what do i do his dad is saying he has a lawyer and that he is going to report me to cps just because of my big mouth please can any one give me advice?

In this case you will probably end up going to court so go get a lawyer. Until the child custody order currently in place is changed you have the legal strangle hold on the situation.

If you have physical and legal custody be the parent and take your son home. You don't need a lawyer just a police officer. Also if you are doing nothing wrong let him call CPS. You can't get in trouble for raising your voice, you can only get in trouble if you are metally or emotionally abusive. Yet I will tell you if you can keep your self calm it will help matters more. Best of luck too you. Hey also let your husband call a lawyer I bet he hasn't paid child support if he hasn't seen his son in 14 years. That would be a nice chunk of money you could get for back child support. You could even use that to put your son threw college.

I hate to say it, but your son is old enough to choose where he wants to live. If you go to court, they will probably ask your son where he wants to live. Get a lawyer, and see what you can do.

every kids wants to be with his other parent some time parents have rules just give him some time its up to him who he really wants to stay wih it doesnt mean he loves you any less it just means that he is confused right now give him time
